Reunite with Family
Australian Family Visas are a popular migration option for those who have family members in Australia. If you have a spouse, parent, child or sibling who is an Australian citizen, permanent resident (PR) or eligible New Zealand citizen, you may be able to apply for a Family Visa.

Each visa type has its own set of requirements and eligibility criteria, so it is important to carefully consider which visa best suits your individual circumstances.
- • Partner Visa allows a person to enter or remain in Australia on the basis of their married or de facto relationship with an Australian citizen, PR or eligible New Zealand citizen.
- • Parent Visa allows parents to live permanently in Australia if their child is an Australian citizen, PR or eligible New Zealand citizen who has been living in Australia for at least two years.
- • Child Visa allows parents to bring their children to Australia to live with them permanently.
- • Carer Visa allows a person to come to Australia to provide care and support for a relative who has a medical condition or disability.
The Australian Family Visa program provides a pathway for families to reunite and build a life together in Australia. If your family members are not Australian PR or citizens, you may join them as dependants or guardians.

Contributory Parent Visa
You may be eligible to apply for the contributory parent migration program if you are the parent of an Australian citizen, permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen. The contributory parent migration program is available for parents who are younger than 65 years old, as well as those who are above 65 years old. Parent visas can be applied onshore or offshore.
Partner Visas
The most common visa of this category are the Partner visas. You may be eligible for a Partner visa if you are married to, or in a de facto relationship with, an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen. There are onshore or offshore options and expands to prospective marriage, same sex and companion.
Other Family Visas
